WHAT PRO BEAUTY TOOLS DO I USE? CURL TIME

Hey there hopeful romantics,

Wanted to start off and thank you for the overwhelming response to my last hair post on How I Curl My Hair. Had a lot of fun sharing the video, but since then I’ve upgraded my hair tools! I am bursting at the seams waiting to share my new curling iron with you, but before that…

A little backstory… Growing up in small town Ohio, I was always under the “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it” mentality. This meant hand me down blow driers with white fuzzy accumulated dust on the vent and a vintage curling iron with the numbers worn off. I’m laughing at myself even admitting that, but I took pride in being creative with my tools to still get the look I wanted, even though it took me twice as long as it should.

After learning a lot more about hair styling, I popped by Target for a premium hair tool set at a   reasonable price and fell in love with the PRO Beauty Tools… especially the extra long curling iron barrel.

MY PRO BEAUTY TOOLS

– 1 1/4 PROFESSIONAL X-LONG GOLD CURLING IRON

Why I love it?

I have always used 1 1/4″ size for loose, natural-looking curls, but this curling iron heats up to 430° and has an extra-long barrel. The PRO Beauty Tools Curling Iron is 2 inches longer than traditional curling irons. It was made for long hair! My hair no longer overlaps when I wrap each curl section around the barrel. This makes for longer lasting curls… quicker. I just wish I found it sooner!

My curling tip?

Set your curling iron heat to no higher then 400° to prevent long term damage.

Curl your hair from root to tip without overlapping for salon quality bounce. With the extra 2 inches on this barrel – you can do it all in one quick long curl.

PRO BEAUTY TOOLS IONIC AC MOTOR DRYER

Why I love it?

I honestly had no idea what I was missing until I upgraded to this blow dryer that is 3X faster then my last. It has 3 Heat/ 2 Speed Settings for customized styling for all hair types. It has a smooth rubberized finish and just looks sleek on my counter – I feel like my home is a salon.

My drying tip?

After sectioning, blow dry your bangs first facing the air downward to minimize frizz.
