Why You Should Book a Flytographer The Next Time You Travel

Who Takes Your Pictures When You Travel?

Sometimes I set up a tripod or ask a stranger, but more often I book a Flytographer. So to show you a mini behind-the-scenes I booked a Flytographer session and took some pictures in Dumbo, Brooklyn.

This blog post shares just a few of the images we took in a one hour session! Yes, I brought a second outfit to change up my look and I love how everything turned out. If you plan on visiting New York City or are planning any travel around the world, they have seasoned professionals that will take photos you’ll love for years to come.

Making memories is hands-down the best part of traveling. Flytographer is a wonderful way to capture all of those moments to look back on for years to come. Just this year I’ve booked Flytographer for shoots around the world in Japan, New York City, and London and could not have had a better or easier experience. For those of you that don’t book photographers often, thought I’d share…

10 Reasons You Should Book a Flytographer The Next Time You Travel

  1. As previously stated, it is a great way to remember a trip! The professional photos make for beautiful decor hanging above your mantel or in a photo album when printed out.

  2. They offer multiple package options so you can personalize how many locations you want to shoot, how much money you want to spend, and how many hours you want to be shooting for. This blog post shows just a few highlights in a one-hour session in Dumbo, Brooklyn.

  3. They have a super helpful concierge service to make sure every detail is ironed out for a seamless photoshoot. If you are traveling to a foreign country and don’t speak the language, the concierge communicates with the photographer for you!

  4. Finalized edited photos are sent to you crazy fast, as quickly as three days!

  5. If you bring an outfit to change into or a layering piece, you can get more post-able photos! You’ll be able to capture more content to liven up your Instagram feed so the photos don’t all look the same. This blog post shows 2 clothing looks I brought to our New York photoshoot.

  6. When traveling as a couple or with a group, it is a seamless way to capture images of multiple people. The whole group gets to be in all the pics instead of having to worry about who is going to take the picture. Or what usually happens when you ask a stranger and they end up cutting off a foot or take just one image that is crooked. 😂

  7. Great to use for holiday cards or if you want to give photo prints as gifts!

  8. The photographers are so friendly and at times a bonus tour guide. Sometimes they even share restaurants, activities, or photo spots only locals would know.

  9. Flytographers are the BEST at surprise engagements!

Hint hint, if you think your partner might pop the question soon, you can casually work them into a conversation as a way to hint at a special someone 😉😉 A little gentle nudge never hurt anyone!

  10. The photographers know the best lighting and angles, of course. These are pics you’re going to display and have for years, you want to look your best!

I definitely suggest booking your shoot one of the first days of your trip. This is when you’ll have the most energy and it will help you get an initial feel of the city. Also, book your shoot for the early morning. This is when the light is best and the attractions will be the least crowded. No other tourists to worry about getting in the shot!
