Our girl has finally arrived! We are so excited to introduce you to her! Meet our beautiful May baby, Teddi Marie Burrello.
Welcome home Teddi Marie Burrello! Nick and I are so excited to introduce you all to our first daughter who was born March 30, 2023, at 8 pounds 4 oz. She is our smiley girl, who loves to laugh in her sleep and cuddle with momma. As parents, we are spending every second soaking in this joyous time in our little baby bubble at home.
From the second we brought her home, Nick has been the absolute best dad! He gently warms her tub for baths and jumps up to help change diapers – we call him the Poop Patrol! haha. Mom’s favorite times with Teddi are the early morning feeds when the whole world feels sleepy and quiet. We get an hour or more to rock together in the nursery recliner and I tear up holding this beautiful little gift in my arms.
During these first 6 weeks with baby, we have loved taking her on afternoon walks as a family when the temperatures in Austin are cool enough. Ash, our 17 lb cavapoo dog, had been a very good big brother. He follows her around the house and softly sniffs her during tummy time. When she cries he nudges her feet with his nose and comforts her with a lick on the leg. We are feeling very grateful that everyone is getting along and this precious time has been quite peaceful.
We are also grateful to have had family fly in these first 6 weeks to help. All of the grandparents have been super hands-on and taken on the household errands & chores so we could spend quality time with Teddi. Overall, we couldn’t be more thankful to have a loving family and support system during this time.
Thank you all for your kind words and well wishes for our baby girl. We are excited to watch her grow up and just hope it isn’t too quickly.
With love,
Caila + Nick + Teddi

Very cute but wish you would share some of the harder parts of having a newborn. Especially on IG. Would love to hear the hard parts for you, how you’ve adjusted to all the changes. You make it seem like it’s so easy and perfect and I guess if it is for you that’s great but it would be way more relatable if you shared some more real life and not what fits into the perfect aesthetic.
You have a beautiful family and a beautiful baby! Enjoy your time with your baby girl because before you know it, she’ll be headed to kindergarten!I totally live your blogs.
