My Most Worn Postpartum Outfits – One Month After Having A Baby

It’s been a while since I shared everyday outfits, but after having a baby 6 weeks ago, I realized how hard it is to find outfits to wear that aren’t pajamas! As I recover from a c-section and get moving again, I’m beginning to find my new mom style, so I thought I would share a roundup of my most-worn postpartum outfits. And I have to admit these are all outfits I’ve worn over and over again because I love them so much and they are so comfy!

LOOK 1: My Go-To “New Mom” Outfit

One thing that you are going to find in all of my new mom outfits is comfort! As my body is continuing to change, I need my clothes to be adaptable. I will tell you all about my wardrobe staples today, and you can bet that yoga pants are one of them!

If I have a classic “new mom” uniform outfit, this is it! I love to throw this on before grocery shopping or taking walks with Nick and Teddi! I’ll pair my classic black yoga pants with these hands-free Kisik sneakers, so I can be comfortable no matter where I’m going. Yoga pants are truly a post-baby essential! And I love the oversized look of this Free People sweater in white. It’s super cute paired with gold jewelry!

Nick knows a thing or two about comfort too! He’s wearing his go-to Cuts shirt with their AO joggers and his Kizik sneakers. Nick’s Chimi sunglasses are actually a souvenir from our honeymoon in Greece! We found them in a little boutique in Santorini. I love it when he wears them and we’re reminded of our honeymoon!

LOOK 2: Mom Walk Ready

When you have a new baby on your hands, it can feel like leaving the house is impossible. But it is so important for your health! I’ve started incorporating a mom walk into my day. Now, getting out into the fresh air is something I look forward to every day!

My go-to walking outfit is a Free People onesie. This one is from their collection with Hatch, which is designed for pregnant and postpartum women! It’s full of great basics that take you from home to the gym…or the park, ‘cause we’re taking baby steps!

This onesie is truly a one-piece wonder! All I have to do is throw on my sneakers and a ball cap and I’m ready for my mom walk!

LOOK 3: Taking Care of Baby

Love the feel of the onesie but looking for something that isn’t activewear? This jumpsuit is my solution! Ideal for quick feedings and getting things done around the house, jumpsuits are a game-changer for new moms. I pair mine with these comfy (under $50!!) slip-on sandals for summer. Who says you can’t wear a cute outfit around the house?

LOOK 4: Free People Movement Maternity + Postpartum Favs

This Runsie is another piece from Free People Movement’s Pregnancy + Postpartum Activewear collection. Because every piece in this collection is designed to stretch, they are great options for mommas with a growing or healing belly! This onesie is perfect for summer, and such a fun color! I love to throw it on for a walk around the park or a lunch date with friends!

Look 5: Skims Dress & Solly Baby Wrap

You all probably know and love the Skims dress already, but did you realize that it’s perfect for new moms? The dress is made out of the softest ribbed fabric, so in addition to being cute, it’s super comfy too! It’s great for wearing around the house, and it’s really easy to wear under a baby wrap. I like to wrap Teddi up in her fabric baby carrier when I’m wearing this dress, since it’s nice and soft for her to rest on top of!

SOFT LOUNGING DRESSES

LOOK 6: Breezy Reformation Zoo Dress

Since I live in Texas, I am always looking for clothes that are safe to sweat in, and this flowy Reformation dress fits the bill! It was 100 degrees out when I wore this black dress to the zoo, but it’s so flowy and lightweight that I stayed cool all day! The bust is super flattering, and the fabric is super breathable. I will be wearing this all around the city this summer!
