I’m so excited to share this bachelorette blog post with you all! This was seriously one of the best weekends of my entire life, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. With the wedding just around the corner, I seriously underestimated how time consuming finalizing all the little details of my wedding day would be – I was going slightly insane! My bachelorette party couldn’t have come at a better time. Surrounded by my bridesmaids with the beautiful Camelback Mountain in the distance, I was able to just feel excited that I was about to get married in just a few short weeks and be in the moment without worrying about seating arrangements or how we want the napkins folded. My bachelorette to Scottsdale, Arizona was one of the most memorable and fun trips of my life. Here’s the itinerary of our weekend that I highly recommend if you ever find yourself in this beautiful city.
MATCHING IN MUMU
Why Scottsdale?
After over a year of not seeing my girlfriends, I wanted to pick an easily reachable destination with guaranteed warm weather and plenty of activities. With average temperatures in the high 70s, May was the perfect month to go. I wouldn’t recommend going in the summer because the desert sun can make temperatures rise to over 100. With guaranteed fun in the sun and direct flights to Phoenix, Scottsdale provides a great mix of activities so there’s something for whatever you’re looking for. There’s really fun outdoor adventures, a fun bar scene, and luxurious spas for those who want some pampering time. Plus, you just can’t beat the scenery! I highly recommend it as a destination for any bachelorette parties or just looking for a getaway.

My Bachelorette Weekend Recap
This bachelorette week in Scottsdale was one of the best and most carefree weekends I’ve had in years! I owe that all of my two maids of honor, Margo and Kelsey. Everything went seamlessly thanks to their weeks of planning, excel sheets, email chains, Instacart grocery deliveries, games, and decorations. As a bride, you have sooo many things on your mind. This was such a sigh of relief to unwind with my girlfriends and be able to just enjoy.
Most of my attendees didn’t know one another before this weekend, so I was a little nervous not knowing what the group dynamic was going to be. But, they couldn’t have all gotten along better. Every morning we would wake up, make avocado toast, and spend quality time relaxing by the pool getting to know each other sipping margaritas. Everyone has so much fun together to the point where weeks later, they’re still texting and are new best friends. I’m so glad they bonded before the actual wedding so they will all be comfortable together for the festivities.
I can’t say enough how much I appreciate all the thought and care that went into the planning of this weekend. More than just a fun weekend, I feel beyond blessed that so many wonderful people went out of their way to celebrate me and Nick. It’s a weekend I’ll remember for the rest of my life!
Bachelorette Budgeting
I am so grateful these girls were willing to spend the time and money to travel across country for my bachelorette party. I know it was a lot to ask, and I am lucky to have them! If you’re also picking a destination location for your bachelorette instead of something local, it’s important to be respectful and conscious of what everyone is paying. I know talking about numbers maybe be taboo, but a lot of people don’t realize how much it adds up until they have been on their first bachelorette weekend. To help with this, I highly recommend picking only one or two big excursions that people splurge on. For example, we originally wanted to do a hot air balloon ride but with logistics and cost, we figured it just wasn’t worth it and decided to go UTVing instead. It ended up being the highlight of the trip! There’s always lots of fun, free options as well. Such as hiking, exploring the city, enjoying the water. Wherever you choose, just make sure to be respectful and plan ahead.
