My Baby Registry Must Haves
When it comes to your baby registry it’s so important to check off all the basics on your list- but there is so much that I have found out I needed that never crossed my mind! I thought it would be a great way to let other first time moms in on these must haves too. There are so many options for each product and I know it can be overwhelming to know which products are actually the best. At the end of the day all we want is what’s best for our precious baby. So, after watching many videos and asking for recommendations from all my mom friends, below is everything I registered for, for our baby girl!
Nursery Must Haves
The first that came to mind when planning out my registry was a crib! I chose The Wave Crib from Nestig because it will last while my baby grows. It converts from a mini crib, to a full crib into a toddler bed. Plus, I love the round edges of the crib for an elevated design.
Next, the Crib Mattress was recommended to me by mommy blogger, Taryn Newton! It’s the first breathable mattress that allows the baby to still breath even if they happen to roll over on their stomach.
The Snuggle Me Organic infant lounger is another great product because it is washable- it is great for laying the baby down for lounge time, tummy time and even for when it’s time to start sitting up!
I love my home and the decor style I have, and I want to keep that while also adapting to all the new baby products. I found a chic & stylish play mat from House of Noa that looks just like a rug! Seriously, how cute is that!
A few other items I grabbed were a baby monitor camera so I can always keep an eye on my baby girl, and the Hatch sound machine. I can control everything from my phone and it has sounds including white noise, ocean, rain and so many more!

Feeding
I personally love the idea of multitasking and wanted the option to be hands free when I pump. So many people have recommended the Spectra Seated pump that is plugged into the wall, it has the best suction (which makes sense since it is medical grade), but if you want to have 2 pumps – I got the Elvie which is great to tuck into your bra (my favorite bra is the Spanx) or bring with you when you travel.
The bottle drying rack below and Brezza Sterilizer were recommended to me by my best friend Margo – who is a mom to twins! She is a super clean mom with a bottle system I wanted to model my routine after. After each bottle feeding, she leaves the bottles in a soaking tub in the sink that is meant just for baby bottles. She then hand washes all of the bottles in the soaking tub and puts them on the bottle drying rack. At the end of the night she puts all of the bottles and binkies in the Brezza Sterilizer so they are clean the next morning when she wakes up! Her system looked like it worked so well and was the best way to stay organized and clean (which is so important)!
Transportation & Travel
Nuna or Uppa Baby? The biggest question for new moms! These are the most popular stroller and car seat brands. For our baby we chose Nuna and let me share why… We wanted to have our baby gear all under the same brand of family and Nuna has one of the highest safety ratings for car seats. The ultra lightweight infant car seat weighing in at 7 pounds connects seamlessly to the stroller, which is also known for how lightweight & durable it is. The Nuna Mixx Next made sense to us, because I’ll be lifting the stroller in and out of the car trunk a lot and plan on traveling quite a bit. I feel like I can manage all of the Nuna gear if I ever have to travel on my own too.
Another must have is a diaper bag – there are so many out there and I believe this item comes down to each individual mom and what works best for them. Personally I chose the Indi Diaper Backpack. There are multiple reasons I chose to try out this bag. I love the chic backpack look of this and the fact I don’t have to have all the weight of a bag on one shoulder. It straps on to a stroller easily, has an easily accessible zipper to your wipes, and also includes a baby changing mat for on the go!

Diapering
Keekaroo came highly recommended to me by many of my girlfriends! I love that it is soft as we lay the baby’s head down to change her and is easy to wipe down and clean up. We looked into the changing pad that is also a scale, but it is SO hard and cold that I wouldn’t want that to be the only place for me to change baby’s diapers on. We went with the Ubbi Diaper Pail, because everyone says that steel is the best way to keep out odors – so that was a no brainer.
Bathing & Hygiene
For hygiene every mom I talk to recommends getting the Frida Baby Essentials kit! A few of the things included in this kit are a rectal thermometer, baby nail filer, snot sucker, and so much more! I feel that these things are some I never thought of as a first time mom.
I chose this bathtub because it doesn’t have holes in it. I like that I don’t have to fill up my entire sink or bathtub each time I want to give the baby a bath, especially as a newborn and I am able to control how much water I wish for there to be in with the baby. They are propped up in this little seat and as pros: it uses less water and is portable!
