Stylish Strawberry Party Treats

 

Happiest of weekends to you love, 

Don’t know about you, but I feel like February really crept up on me. The chocolate boxes &  sugar lips wave in the shop windows, reminders to tell our loved ones we care about them. My family is far beyond the bridges that pump life into Manhattan, so this year I’m inviting a few girlfriend’s over for some light strawberry treats. With V-day quickly approaching, thought I’d share with you a few simple ways to style your strawberry treats with just enough time to lick the spoon clean.

3 Simple Strawberry Styled Party Tricks

Angel Food Cake & Cupcakes

Angel Food Cake Mix // Cool Whip // Fresh Strawberries // Cupcake Liners

The ingredients for this light and easy dessert can be picked up at your local grocery store, which I love. My secret to last minute treats is always Cool Whip and fresh fruit. It looks aesthetically pleasing and no one feels guilty if they sneak a second scoop or slice, so I always try and incorporate it. Make sure you leave the Cool Whip in the fridge at least an hour before – for easy spreading on a room temperature cake.

Strawberry Biscuit Sticks

You can pick this thin treat up in the Asian food section for that perfectly pink accent. It makes for a great conversation starter for those who haven’t tried the creamy blush dessert. 

Pink Framed Prints 

Interchangeable for every holiday, this is a wonderful hack for an added pink theme touch. I picked up my frame from Walmart and I usually find some affordable prints at my local Paper Source Store.
