At 25 weeks pregnant, Nick and I went on a relaxing babymoon to Maui, Hawaii. Starting to embrace my bump and get more excited for baby – I planned a babymoon photoshoot to remember this precious time with our first baby. Looking for a natural aesthetic, I stumbled upon Liv Shaw’s beautiful photos on Instagram and booked an hour sunrise shoot on the beach and I am thrilled with how they turned out!
Celebrating the female body, I was really excited to remember this first pregnancy with artistic black & white photos! Whether you plan a glam shoot inside a studio or take some iphone photos on the beach – I think it’s wonderful to capture memories to look back on these 9 months with your bump.
Maternity Photoshoot Tips:
- Find 3 – 5 inspiration photos on Pinterest to send to your photographer! This will align your vision before shoot day.
- Practice poses in front of a mirror to find angles you like of your bump! Your new body is beautiful as you create new life!
- Bring a 2 – 3 dress/ outfit options to show your photographer, I prefer a casual look & a dressy look to give you options
- Best lighting is at sunrise or sunset – highly recommend scheduling your shoot based on lighting! Makes such a difference.
Hope you all enjoyed these Maternity Shoot Tips! Can’t wait to see yours!
