Austin’s Best Kept Secret Lost Pines Resort & Spa – A Family- Friendly + Relaxing Escape

For our first Austin staycation as a family of four, we recently visited Hyatt Regency’s Lost Pines Resort & Spa and it was a dream! With the most relaxing lazy river for the kids, luxury restaurants for the parents, and so many activities on the property we found ourselves feeling truly pampered. Nick and I were looking for a family-friendly resort within an hour drive from Austin and so many friends recommended Lost Pines and their world famous omakase restaurant, Sushi By Scratch. We looked into booking and saw the rooms were large – which is perfect when you have two kids, so we booked two nights! Everyone on the property was so welcoming – it was the perfect celebration vacation to reconnect as a couple and make memories as a family. We miss Lost Pines already & can’t wait to come back soon ❤️

Animal lovers can also enjoy horseback riding, as well as meet and greets with the property mascots, including longhorns, ponies, pigs, donkeys, alpacas, goats, and more.
  • Hit the Links: For golf enthusiasts, the award-winning golf course – one of the most notable in Texas – has recently unveiled a redesigned course layout complete with four brand new holes, and a layout that descends into the breathtaking Lower Colorado River.”
