We are in the midst of summer and for me that means trying to find outfits that are not only in style, but also keep me cool in 90 degree Texas heat! If you’re anything like me, you love a look-for-less, and luckily I have found some great pieces under $50 from Walmart! From eyelet dresses to colorful stripes, Walmart has it all, just in time for your summer closet refresh. Today, I’m showing you exactly how I’m styling those Walmart fashion finds!
This black eyelet midi dress is perfect for family photos! It comes in multiple colors, including white and pink. I paired this dress with simple black sandals, but if you want a dressier look, I would pair it with these lace-up black heels.
Another favorite under $50 is this orange-and-pink striped midi dress! If you can’t tell, I am loving a midi dress for summer. But, if striped prints aren’t your style, this midi dress also comes in a gorgeous green color! These buckle slide sandals match so well with this style of dress. The neutral tones in these shoes make them super versatile, so I can re-wear them with the rest of my summer wardrobe!
This multi-colored stripe dress is perfect for date night. The front knot detailing adds an extra element to this dress that I love! I chose the black sandals again for this look. They are such a staple for summer, and they also come in cream and pink colors! Sometimes I like to add a little color on date night, so if I was going for an upscale look I would wear these orange mini heels. They’re so fun, especially for the summertime!
You can’t beat a sundress in the summer! Even if I am just running errands around town, I’ll throw on a simple sundress, and immediately feel put-together. This classic white mini dress is versatile enough to wear to the grocery store, or to brunch! I like that it has longer sleeves because during the summer retail stores and restaurants always seem chilly to me, and I find myself wishing I had brought a cardigan! These tan buckle slides pair perfectly with the white dress, and they are so easy to put, perfect for when you’re leaving the house in a rush.
Other shoe options for this dress would be these brown platform heels for a brunch with my girlfriends, or white sneakers for days I am walking around town.
When I am hanging out with friends and hosting parties on my back patio, I will be wearing this three-tier pink midi dress! The material is breathable, so the summer heat doesn’t feel as brutal (especially when I’m enjoying a yummy piece of watermelon)! I love the stripe detailing on the bottom tier of the dress.
