By now you can see, I just love this spooky season! I look forward to Fall and Winter all year! From pumpkin patches to costume DIYing, Halloween just brings out all the fun of the season! I love to plan my costume out with Nick or my girlfriends, and it always includes dramatic make-up to really elevate the look! I love being creative, so I thought I’d share some of my original make-up looks with you!
Here are 5 Simple Halloween Makeup Looks to try this Halloween!
- Wicked Witch
- Moana
- Cruella
- Skeleton
- Tin Man
1. Wicked Witch
This simple Halloween costume is such a classic! You can usually find most of it in your closet making it the perfect DIY! Using some green face paint and dramatic lip color, you can create this witchy look!
2. Moana
Who doesn’t want to be a Disney Princess? Moana is such a heartwarming movie and definitely a great role model for girls! The costume is so cute to wear and you can complete it with the right make-up. Channel your inner island girl with some contouring and add a white eyeliner to really make your eyes pop – animation style!
3. Cruella
Everyone’s favorite Disney villain they love to hate or hate to LOVE! Cruella has such great fashion taste making this such a fun costume to dress up in! Layering white eyeshadow over the cheeks (or you can use face paint in the color white) with black polka dots, I wanted to create a puppy fur print for a creative twist on this classic villain. I used liquid black eyeliner to create the puppy spots and added dramatic red lip to finish the look!
4. Skeleton
Create a fun Dia De Los Muertos look with cute and spooky Skeleton makeup. There are so many ways to mix it up when doing a skeleton makeup look, but all you really need is face makeup in the color black for the eyes and nose! A little trick is to use black liquid liner to outline the skeleton mouth on your lips. It makes it so much easier to make the straight lines & lasts longer throughout the night!
5. Tin Man
A Classic Wizard of Oz costume, The Tin Man look gives me all the heart eyes! With a metalic smokey eye and silver shimmery eyeshadow over the nose and cheekbones, you will look like the metal man himself in no time! And for a finishing touch, use liquid black liner to draw on the tin man’s metal gears and plates!
