Sitting on the bathroom counter with feet dangling like swinging bells, when I was growing up, I enjoyed watching my mother’s beauty routine in the mirror’s warm glow. My small town upbringing afforded me an elaborate imagination, I would follow my mother’s scent around the house hoping to one day be as elegant as she.
