Thanksgiving

Colorful Friendsgiving Tablescape Idea

Friendsgiving is the no-pressure playful gathering of friends that feel like family. Nick and I try to squeeze in at least one before we head home for Thanksgiving break, but this year things look a little different. Instead of getting together with 10 it’s looking more like 2 is what we are comfortable with. Things might be smaller, but it doesn’t mean the love isn’t there.

In the spirit of the Friendsgiving season, I wanted to put together a festive yet colorful tablescape to cheer us all up! With blush, gold, and muted green mini-bottle brush trees as a centerpiece, I feel like it really set the tone for a bright night full of laughter.

A decorating tip: your centerpiece is your focal point. So start by choosing what goes in the middle of your table and use that as your theme throughout the room.

Hope you enjoy this little twist on this holiday tradition, since it’s with friends I went with a more playful look – decorating wreaths with antique ribbons and using a cake stand to highlight my pink & yellow beverages.
