Nick and I were invited to a Spooky Halloween costume party last minute and of course, we didn’t have time to go get something from the store before! Luckily we already had outfits from Oktoberfest in our closet, so we decided to get creative to make them more appropriate for Halloween. With a little black costume makeup from the drugstore on the corner, I drew black circles on our eyes and triangle on the nose for a quick skeleton twist to our outfit. Then with a piece of cardboard, I wrote in sharpie “I’d die for a beer” – and all of a sudden we had a hilariously witty costume worthy of Halloween!
How to Get the Skeleton Oktoberfest Look:
- Braid crown & I bobby-pinned a little faux wheat to cover the ends of the pigtail braids where they met at the top.
- Black costume makeup around eyes and on nose
- Eyeliner lines on lips to create the skeleton teeth. And I used waterproof eyeliner on the lips so it would last longer & wouldn’t smudge from talking.
