My Olay 28-day Challenge Recap

Happy October, everyone!

Having turned the clock past a quarter century in years, you could say I’m definitely more aware than ever about preventative skincare and maintaining a healthy complexion. My skincare routine is in the midst of a major revival, and there are a few ways I’ve been shaking things up. The big one is how I moisturize.

I kicked off the Olay 28 Day Challenge back in August just before I embarked on a romantic Mexican getaway with Nick. Traveling can take its toll, and I made sure to pack the Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Moisturizer (with SPF 15) and Deep Hydrating Eye Gel – both kept me looking bright-eyed through our adventures. These two easily became my skincare heroes this summer, and with Fall now in full swing, my skin is primed and prepped to handle those cooler, drier temps heading our way.

Not just your mom’s best kept beauty secret

If you don’t know Olay, let me start off by saying – it’s one of my favorite affordable skincare lines that I know I’m going to reach for time and time again. They’ve been around for over 60 years and chances are… your mom probably has a bottle rolling around in her bathroom drawer. 😊

Read on for my 28-day skincare journey with Olay if you fancy a little self-care indulgence today.

DAY 7

Shut the kale up!

If your skin is on the drier (or sensitive) side, I would recommend Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Moisturizer for everyday use. Chock-full of anti-oxidants Vitamin E and green tea extract to wage a war against free radicals, Olay says that just one dose contains as much B3 as 50 cups of the ultimate superfood… kale! Anyone else feel like a tall drink of green juice for your face? 🌿

It’s formulated with vitamins C, E, B3 and B5 to enhance the skin’s natural self-renewal process–leaving you bright and glowy. And with the added SPF 15, this moisturizer is good to use all year round! Even after just seven days of use, my skin is feeling fresh and soft without irritation. Don’t know what else to compare it to except maybe a cute baby’s bum…

The only bags I want are in my closet

A smile is your best accessory, and as most people know, I smile a lot. 😄When you smile (and laugh) a lot, you’re bound to gain some under eye wrinkles. I’ve been using the Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel every night during this challenge, and after just seven days, Nick says my eyes look well-rested and refreshed. Supercharged with Pro-vitamin B5 and witch hazel, and joined by hyaluronic acid and cucumber extract, the ingredient army effectively soothes, regenerates, and quenches the delicate skin under the eye for long-lasting hydration.

DAY 14

Keep calm and moisturize on

My skin is feeling hydrated and moisturized. 👏 Giving myself some props for adulting properly and taking ownership my skin. I am definitely seeing noticeable results: more even skin texture, face feels softer, and less puffy under eye bags. I actually look forward to applying moisturizer every day!

DAY 28

The end, but really just the beginning

After 28 days of exclusively using the 7-in-1 Moisturizer… once in the morning after washing my face and once at night before bed… I see a huge improvement in skin texture and appearance. Buh-bye to the bumps on my forehead (my dermatologist says I get these from dryness/dehydration), and hello smooth skin! The fine lines under my eyes are also softer, less noticeable from regular use of the Deep Hydrating Eye Gel every night. 😍

Really loving my skin lately and appreciate the Olay 28 Day Challenge for helping me create this habit, which I’m going to continue 365 days. I’ll be clicking to cart the 7-in-1 at the end of this month since I use it so often… and with each pump of the bottle, feels good knowing I’m investing in a lifetime of beauty.

Comment below and let me know if you take your own Olay 28 Day Challenge. Would love to hear about your results!

Big thank you to Olay for sponsoring this post!

Agree, we always must take of our skin as we get older to look young and healthy the right way. I don’t want to look like those who end up getting filters and messed up botox and look not human as they get older. Your’s so gorgeous.
