DRESSING UP WHILE DRESSING DOWN
It’s still the time of year where we just want to stay inside and watch Netflix until the sun comes up. But, on the rare occasion we brave the cold and don’t actually cancel on our plans (come on, we’re all guilty of this!), just throw on any pair of jeans and these white studded mules for the perfect casual date-night outfit. These mules could not be easier to wear — I keep mine by the door so they’re readily available to slip on – on my way out. The leather fabric protects them from getting dirty and since they’re backless, no rubbing.
Another stylish tip when wearing with denim: Pair it with a sheer top for layering like this sheer dress from Zara. Bury your entire outfit under the warmest coat you own, et voilà! February date night ready.

Another favorite of mine, Sofar Sounds transforms everyday spaces (someone’s living room, restaurants, etc.) into intimate venues for concerts. The venue and artists (there are usually 3 per show) are kept secret until the last minute. You have be picked via a lottery to be able to go, so make sure to sign up!

Batsu is a hilarious and interactive Japanese game show where the performers compete against each other in games. Located below a Japanese restaurant, you can order food and drinks from the menu but let me warn you, some of the games might make you lose your appetite.

While you never know the line-up before you go, Comedy Cellar is always a guaranteed good time. There are usually around 5 comedians a show, and sometimes celebrity comedians will make a surprise guest appearance to try out new sets. Definitely reserve tickets online beforehand and get to the venue early!

There are so many amazing dessert spots in NYC. Here are three of my top places with my must-try menu items:
🍰 Milk Bar — Must-try: Cereal Milk Soft Serve. Think the deliciousness of the milk after eating a bowl of cornflakes in ice cream form.
🍰 Spot Dessert Bar — Must-try: The Harvest. A beautiful potted “plant” where the soil is made up of 9 layers of deliciousness.
🍰 Taiyaki NYC — Must-try: The fun and totally instagrammable ice cream served in a fish-shaped waffle cone.
