BURT’S BEES LAUNCHES A NATURAL BEAUTY COLLECTION

We might share yellow as a favorite color, but that isn’t the only thing that has me gushing over Burt’s Bees this fall.

I’ve teamed up with them to show you all of my favorites.

Our favorite lip balm brand, Burt’s Bees has launched a full beauty collection!

I like a big bushy brow, an even canvas of skin, light kiss of blush, and soft lips – the everyday natural look. But heading down the makeup aisle to try and achieve a natural look with unnatural products… feels like a big contradiction to me.

This is why it’s so exciting that Burt’s Bees expanded into makeup this past September! Their mission has always been to imitate the way bees live and blend ingredients found in nature – and they’ve achieved just that. Makeup made with natural ingredients from the liquid foundation, mattifying powder, blush, brow pencil, eyeliner, eye shadow, to the mascara they didn’t leave anything out of this beauty collection (except parabens, phthalates, SLS, petrolatum, talc, synthetic fragrances or silicones).

FOUNDATION

I’ve been loving the Goodness Glows Liquid Foundation in Warm Honey for more coverage especially on those blemish heavy areas. It moisturizes and has a dewy finish so I recommend pairing it with their Mattifying Powder, I use their Bamboo shade. 😊 My skin is pretty sensitive and I often break out around my hairline so it’s a wonderful feeling to know that this makeup won’t make me break out even more. 🙌

BLUSH

My favorite Burt’s Bees beauty product! I fell in love with their Blush in Bare Peach at first swipe. This light weight vitamin-infused blush is nice and subtle so it isn’t overbearing and builds well with application. It compliments you so much; it’ll make you blush. 😉

Side note: It’s been flying off the shelves! I’ve visited at least three drugstores where it’s been sold out. Don’t be discouraged though, you can buy it online at Walmart.

BROW PENCIL

A soft, creamy finish to define that natural shape, the brow pencil works wonderfully for everyday shaping. You might think it’s funny, but I use both the Blonde and Brunette brow pencils depending on the time of year. A make up artist once told me you should match your brow pencil color to your eye color to make sure they aren’t too dark. I’ve listened to her ever since! In the summer, my eyes lighten and become hazel so I’ll use the Blonde shade then… a little fun fact for ya.

Mascara

I was not blessed with length in my lashes and most of the time I get lash extensions. But for those in-between weeks, when I want to give my lashes a break I’ve been using the Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Nourishing Mascara… and I love it! It really gives me the length I’m looking for without the clump. I give it an A+, and I think you will too.

LIP CRAYON

The Burt’s Bees Matte Lip Crayon collection is another favorite. It glides on and leaves your lips well hydrated! I also like that the color is a little thicker, like a lipstick, and not sheer once applied. I have the Sedona Sands shade rolling around the bottom of my purse for events, so my lips don’t dry out. You’ll love the color. 😘

Ever try Shea Moisture Black African Soap w Shea Butter or the Korean soap that sells out like hot cakes that helps so much for people who break out at times. You don’t look like you break out much and you are beautiful girl. Might try the blush and brow pencil. Keep bringing quality to ur blog. You are beautiful inside and out. Serious love love ur hair!!!!
